About the Job

Xella Group is seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanic (m/w/d) to join our team in Alzenau, Germany. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plant by performing routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plant equipment and machinery
• Identify and report potential issues or defects in plant operations
• Coordinate and execute maintenance and repair tasks in collaboration with the production team
• Source and procure replacement parts and materials as needed
• Participate in pre- and post-production activities as required
• Assist with special mechanical tasks and contribute to the implementation of investment projects

Requirements

• Successful completion of a training program as a mechanic or equivalent qualification
• Several years of experience in a relevant field
• Willingness to work in a shift-based environment
• High level of motivation, assertiveness, resilience, and teamwork skills
