Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager to lead our production team at our Hamburg-Hausbruch site. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for developing organizational capabilities to achieve expected results and overseeing the overall production performance (SQCDM). You will also plan, lead, and sponsor initiatives for organizational change and development, as well as coordinate internal and external resources to support projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement standards and best practices using the DDS-Methodik (DDS, AM, PM, FI) to drive continuous improvement and excellence in production.
  • Lead by example and promote a culture of safety and quality, living our company values and behaviors.
  • Coach and develop the right behaviors in the organization to achieve outstanding results and align employee relationships at the site.
  • Formulate and implement production guidelines and programs that support the site's competitiveness and profitability, as well as support the Site Manager in developing and formulating long- and short-term plans, guidelines, programs, and goals to improve business performance.
  • Work with the HR department to develop training and development plans for all employees.
  • Plan new production capacities and bring the ability to respond to continuous business growth.

Requirements

  • Highest school degree or equivalent with relevant experience in production management and leadership.
  • Ability to drive performance improvements through continuous improvement instruments.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and build close relationships with internal and external stakeholders and customers.
  • Excellent networking and social skills with the ability to lead and develop a diverse team.
  • Passion for taking responsibility and achieving ambitious goals.
  • Experience in the medical industry is not a requirement, as long as you bring technical process understanding.
  • Fluent German and English language skills.
  • 10% travel activity is required.
