  • Design, planning, implementation, and commissioning of automation projects
  • Conceptualization, development, and optimization of programmable logic controllers in the field of industrial automation
  • New development and programming of control software for machines and systems in the TIA-Portal
  • Creation of visualizations and user interfaces with Siemens WinCC-Flexible or comparable tools
  • Error analysis, error diagnosis, and subsequent error correction
  • Conducting virtual software tests in a simulated test environment
  • Support during the commissioning of the systems
  • Creation of user manuals and user documentation

What you bring with you

  • Successful completion of a degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or a comparable training with professional experience
  • Experience in programming programmable logic controllers, preferably with TIA-Portal
  • Experience with SIMATIC-S7, B&R, Allen-Bradley, or Beckhoff TwinCAT is desirable
  • Proficient use of common visualization tools (e.g., WinCC)
  • Experience in conducting virtual software tests
  • Willingness to travel occasionally within Germany and abroad
  • Excellent German language skills and good English language skills in writing and speaking
