Key Responsibilities
- Identify, monitor, assess, and prioritize relevant regulatory changes and updates regarding their impact on our business model and offerings.
- Identify relevant requirements from regulatory frameworks and consult solution development teams.
- Ensure that products and processes follow current regulatory requirements and standards.
- Keep the organization informed about new and evolving regulatory requirements and trends.
- Provide guidance and training to internal and external stakeholders related to relevant regulations, norms, and standards.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to address potential regulatory issues.
- Engage with industry initiatives to inform the development and update of relevant standards and norms.
About You
We are looking for a professional with at least 2 to 5 years' experience in a sustainability-related job. You should have a deep understanding of environmental laws, regulations, and standards at local, national, and international levels.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of environmental laws, regulations, and standards at local, national, and international levels.
- Well-familiar with relevant carbon accounting and sustainability reporting standards (e.g., ISO, GHG Protocol, ESRS).
- Strong analytical skills to assess risks and opportunities arising from regulatory requirements from a business perspective.
- Effective communication skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent project management skills to ensure successful collaboration across departments and successful delivery of high-quality results.
- Proficient in English and German.
