Credit Risk Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Risk Analyst to join our team in Düsseldorf. As a key member of our Risk Management team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of credit risk modeling and reports.
Responsibilities:- Review and validate the credit risk exposure evaluation of new products and transactions, for energy derivatives and renewables, and ensure that they are consistent with the credit risk policies and procedures.
- Identify and document the business requirements and specifications for the credit risk related process and systems enhancements, and liaise with the IT team and the Market Risk team to ensure that they are delivered and tested in a timely manner.
- Provide support and training to the users of the credit risk related process and systems, and resolve any issues or queries that may arise.
- Prepare and maintain the documentation and reports related to the credit risk product approvals process, and provide regular updates to the senior management and the stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in finance, economics, mathematics, statistics, engineering or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in credit risk analysis, preferably in the energy sector.
- Strong understanding of the validation of energy derivatives and renewables, and the credit risk exposure evaluation methodologies, process and regulation framework.
- Proficient in the use of credit risk related process and systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills, and the ability to work independently and in a team.
