Cybersecurity Leader

Cubonic GmbH is seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Security Expert to join our team. As a key member of our IT organization, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our digital landscape.
You will be responsible for leading the efforts to create a robust security posture, manage risks, and ensure compliance with regulatory automotive standards. This includes developing and implementing security strategies, managing risk, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Security Strategies: Create and execute the IT security strategy, policies, and procedures aligned with business objectives and regulatory standards.
- Risk Management, Compliance, and Incident Response: Identify, assess, and mitigate IT security risks; conduct audits, and lead incident response and investigations.
- Security Architecture: Design and implement security architecture for new systems and applications; review and manage security measures for IT projects.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work with other departments to ensure integrated security efforts and communicate risks and strategies to executive leadership.
- Security Awareness and Training: Develop and deliver security awareness programs to promote a security-conscious culture within the organization.
- Stay Current on Security Trends: Continuously monitor and update knowledge on the latest security threats, technologies, and best practices.
- Proven experience in a senior IT security role.
- In-depth knowledge of IT security frameworks, standards, and best practices.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA) are preferred.
- Experience with security technologies and tools (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM).
