About the Role

Flink is a leading quick commerce player in Europe, on a mission to give people back time. As a Senior Machine Learning Ops Engineer, you will shape the future of Machine Learning at Flink, working in a dynamic, cross-functional team. You'll collaborate closely with Data Scientists, Software Engineers, and Platform Engineers to innovate and optimize Flink's machine learning ecosystem.

You will create systems that automate processes needed for the lifecycle management of ML models, including model training, testing, monitoring, and deployment. You will create and scale internal services that deliver real-time predictions needed for Flink's recommendations engines. You will take a leadership role in helping the team and the organisation with the development and maintenance of Flink's Data Products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create systems that automate ML model lifecycle management, including training, testing, monitoring, and deployment
  • Create and scale internal services for real-time predictions in Flink's recommendations engines
  • Lead the team in developing and maintaining Flink's Data Products
  • Collaborate with Data and Platform teams, and internal customers to implement best solutions
Requirements
  • At least 4 years of experience designing, developing, and deploying Machine Learning products
  • Previous experience with architectural input into Data/Machine Learning product design and build
  • Proficient in Python programming and familiar with common ML libraries
  • Ability to provision and configure infrastructure for ML/Data products, and deploy/scaling/monitoring in a public cloud environment
  • Experience with ML platforms, such as MLflow, Kserve, and Feast
  • Comfortable navigating and translating Data Scientist needs into practical solutions
  • Good grasp of CI/CD pipelines and IaC tools
  • Open-minded personality, comfortable working in a collaborative Agile environment
