Job Description

Mercedes-Benz AG is seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Working Student in the field of additive manufacturing using laser deposition welding.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement innovative additive manufacturing solutions.
  • Design and execute experiments to optimize laser metal deposition processes.
  • Develop and validate simulation models to predict material behavior and component performance.
  • Work with our materials technology laboratory to prepare and analyze samples.
  • Contribute to the documentation and presentation of results to our team and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, production and manufacturing technology, materials engineering, or a related field.
  • Excellent German and English language skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CAD/CAM software.
  • Good knowledge of Python programming language.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
