Role Overview
Engage in hands-on development using Python within a dynamic team of software engineers and quantitative developers, spearheading transformative advancements in the financial sector. Participate in innovative technology projects and embrace modern software development methodologies, including agile practices, continuous integration and deployment, test automation, and cloud-based infrastructure. Oversee the creation of high-performance risk management solutions for regulatory compliance, along with interactive dashboards and alert systems monitoring risk exposure across numerous positions. Contribute to the development of next-generation wealth management and brokerage services accessible to all. Generate and implement data-driven strategies aimed at enhancing business value. Gain exposure to trading algorithms that autonomously manage substantial assets and execute over a million trading decisions within a short timeframe. Ensure that none of the above tasks are executed using spreadsheet tools. Provide support to investment managers, trading teams, backend operations, wealth management, and risk management.Candidate Profile
As a member of our Financial Engineering Team, you should possess:
A strong academic foundation in a quantitative field such as financial mathematics, computational finance, statistics, or a related discipline. Proficient knowledge of Python programming. Familiarity with version control systems, software development practices, and design principles. Availability for a minimum of 3 months for an internship or 6 months as a working student. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken. Exceptional communication skills, enabling clear and concise interactions with various stakeholders, including engineering and product teams.Preferred Qualifications
Experience with cloud service providers, particularly AWS. Knowledge of relational databases and SQL. Understanding of econometrics, portfolio optimization, and risk modeling.
