About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Data Engineer to join our team at credium GmbH. As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our data pipelines and ETL processes, ensuring efficient data flow and processing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement data pipelines and ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and contribute to effective data solutions.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality data documentation, ensuring data accuracy and reliability across multiple platforms and systems.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity by identifying and resolving data inconsistencies and errors.
Requirements
  • Professional experience and educational background in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Basic database knowledge, including SQL and relational database management systems (e.g., Postgres, Oracle, MSS).
  • Cloud experience, with Azure being a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (and ideally German), with the ability to contribute effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Programming experience (e.g., Python, OOPL) and an interest in learning PySpark.
  • Geospatial data experience (PostGIS, QGIS, etc.) as a plus.
  • Startup mindset, with experience in a startup environment, eagerness to learn, ability to work independently and in a team, and willingness to go the extra mile.
