Group Leader

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Group Leader (m/w/d) Account Service and Collections to join our Market Follow-up Department at Sparkasse. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing new processes and procedures, including the preparation of board resolutions, internal communication, and related administrative work for regulatory topics such as FATCA/AEOI, capital gains, and church tax, as well as collections.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement new processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness in the Market Follow-up Department
• Manage and oversee the implementation of regulatory requirements, including FATCA/AEOI, capital gains, and church tax
• Supervise and coordinate the work of team members, providing guidance and support as needed
• Develop and maintain relationships with service providers and external stakeholders
• Manage passive accounts and oversee the budget and forecasting process

Requirements and Qualifications

• Completed commercial education in banking or financial services with additional business qualifications
• Extensive experience in collections or market follow-up activities, preferably in a banking or financial services environment
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
