Powertrain NVH Expert

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Powertrain NVH Expert to lead our technical team in China and Germany. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the high-quality introduction of new products through E2E assembly design, component quality, processing inspection, and assembly test process research and standard construction.

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled professional with 5+ years of experience in managing and expert roles in large domestic joint ventures or foreign-funded automobile manufacturing enterprises. Your expertise in NVH development and manufacturing quality control for automatic transmissions and new energy electric drive/hybrid systems is essential. Additionally, you should have rich practical experience in bench testing and NVH-related failure optimization, as well as experience with NVH end-to-end structure analysis of key powertrain parts such as gear shafts, motors, bearings, and shells. Familiarity with NVH characteristics of parallel shaft and planetary reducers is also required.

Responsibilities

As a Powertrain NVH Expert, your responsibilities will include leading the development and application of tools such as high-performance NVH data collection systems, intelligent diagnosis systems, and AI big data analysis. You will be responsible for designing process schemes and formulating process standards for NVH tests on the bench. Additionally, you will need to master the process digital system, digital manufacturing technology, and development direction. Experience with quality tools such as 8D and 5Why, design DOE experiments, and solving difficult NVH failures is also essential.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have a good command of NVH test analysis tools such as DISCOM, LMS Testlab, Head, and PAK. A salary range of $120,000-$180,000 per annum, depending on experience, is offered. The position is based in China and Germany, with opportunities for career growth and development.
