Ground Operations Specialist

Job Summary:
FedEx is seeking a skilled Ground Operations Specialist to join its team. As a key member of the Ground Operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth movement of containers and vehicles within the company premises.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform shunting work while adhering to all relevant safety regulations, including removing transport containers from gates and ramps, parking containers in designated areas, and positioning containers at loading gates and ramps.
- Coordinate and organize container movements on the company premises, ensuring timely preparation and completion of container deployment orders at hall gates.
- Ensure the functionality of vehicles and containers, including checking the validity of technical inspection seals.
- Report damages and/or non-operational transport equipment as per inspection.
- Comply with all relevant regulations, processes, and legal requirements, including safety regulations and operating procedures.
- Use technical tools efficiently and effectively.
- Communicate and interact with team members and adjacent interfaces.
- Support the warehouse process while adhering to relevant safety and cargo security regulations.
Requirements:
- Completed training or equivalent professional experience.
- CE driver's license required.
- Willingness to work shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Resilience, flexibility, teamwork.
- Experience in the handling area of a KEP service provider advantageous.
- Computer skills preferred.
- Hazardous goods knowledge and forklift license beneficial.
- Good command of German advantageous.
