About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team at SVA. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical support and development of our existing customer systems, as well as the implementation of new IT infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance and support to IT projects from initiation to completion, and implement the necessary IT infrastructure.
- Apply and fine-tune Ansible, including integration and optimization of related platforms for automation and configuration management.
- Develop, update, and maintain technical documentation.
- Support the sales team with technical expertise during the pre-sales phase and in the detailed design of solutions.
- Organize and conduct workshops and training sessions on Ansible and DevOps.
- Provide technical support and further develop existing customer systems after project completion.
Requirements
- Completed IT-related education, such as a degree in computer science or a related field.
- Advanced expertise in Ansible, including knowledge and practical experience in creating, adapting, and optimizing playbooks, roles, and modules.
- Deep experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management tools, particularly in conjunction with Ansible and the Ansible Automation Platform or AWX.
- Desirable experience in the following areas: development environments and CI/CD tools, container technologies, and secret management tools.
- Excellent communication skills with very good German (C1 or higher) and English language skills (B2 or higher).
- Willingness to travel within Germany (with limited travel activity in the support and operations area).
