Electrical Section Chief

We are offering a challenging position for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team as Chief of the Electrical Section in Vilseck, Germany.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing activities involved in the operation, maintenance, repair, and improvement of electrical facilities with different voltage levels (up to 20,000 Volt), including electrical lines, transformers, substations, intrusion detection fire alarm systems, and similar infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have excellent engineering skills, strong leadership abilities, and experience in managing electrical systems. They will work closely with subordinate units, establish internal controls, and ensure that all electrical facilities are properly maintained and upgraded.

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee activities involved in the operation, maintenance, repair, and improvement of electrical facilities
• Study and make recommendations on section programs, resources, and priorities
• Delegate authority, assure coordination between subordinate units, and establish internal controls
• Provide supporting documentation for recommendations to change existing plans regarding electrical systems and equipment
• Assign and review work through subordinate supervisors, resolve differences among subordinates, and recommend conclusive personnel actions

The successful candidate must have:

• A valid driver's license class B
• Office automation skills
• English Language Proficiency level B2 and German Language Proficiency level C1
