Molecular Diagnostics Product Manager

BIOTYPE GmbH is a leading developer, manufacturer, and distributor of molecular diagnostic kits and systems for the detection and quantification of RNA and DNA markers. Our assays support diagnosis and therapy in the fields of oncology and hematological oncology, as well as forensic DNA analysis. In addition to commercial kits, we offer customized development and production of assays for molecular diagnostics, which can be developed for our proprietary MODAPLEX system or for various established platforms in the market. We also undertake projects at every stage of product development, from prototype to CE-IVD.

- Responsible product manager for assays on BIOTYPE GmbH's proprietary MODAPLEX platform and other PCR technologies
- Develop and execute market entry and product sales strategies in coordination with global sales
- Lead and coordinate key projects and represent the company and product lines at congresses, webinars, etc.
- Implement and coordinate product developments from product idea to product launch
- Establish business plans and business case reports
- Create and provide product-related marketing material
- Proven experience in product management in molecular diagnostics, ideally in the field of oncology and/or companion diagnostics
- Goal-oriented attitude, analytical mindset, and ability to work effectively within an agile organization and cross-functional teams
- Ambitious, intrinsically motivated, and efficient working attitude paired with strong problem-solving skills
- Graduated in life sciences, biotechnology, medicine, or bioengineering (e.g. biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, biomedical studies or related) with Dipl. or M.Sc. or PhD or similar study/education in life sciences or medicine
- Ideal experience in the development of PCR-based assays, high software affinity
- Experience working in a regulated environment under ISO 13485 and ISO 9001
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in German and English
- Willingness to travel on business
