About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team at DB Schenker. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and transportation processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the receipt, storage, and shipment of goods, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move goods within the warehouse.
- Manage inventory levels, conducting regular cycle counts and audits to ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, preferably with a forklift certification.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail, with the ability to accurately count and record inventory.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
