About the Program

As a Trainee in "Software Engineering Mercedes-Benz Operating System (MB.OS)", you will explore our in-house developed Mercedes-Benz Operating System, which elevates the digital experience inside the car to a new level. Our chip-to-cloud architecture connects all vehicle domains, from autonomous driving to comfort and infotainment, as well as driving & charging.

Your Role

You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of MB.OS in one or multiple of the following areas:

  • Push infotainment functions like Navigation to the next level
  • Foster state-of-the-art software engineering and shape our in-house development ecosystem
  • Shape the agile processes and transformation of MB.OS software development
  • Drive the introduction of the paradigm-shifting Zone Architecture into our new model series
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An above-average degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable course of study
  • A maximum of 3 years of professional experience (apart from studies)
  • At least 3 months of experience abroad (study, international internship, work and travel)
  • Affinity and enthusiasm for digital technologies and trends
  • Excellent knowledge of English; good German language skills are an advantage
