Key Responsibilities- Lead cost planning, budgeting, and estimating activities for ongoing commissions
- Manage people and risk management within the team
- Advise on contract administration and contractual frameworks relating to construction
- Develop and implement value engineering and life cycle costing strategies
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to drive business development and growth
- Previous experience in a cost consultancy practice in a similar role
- Experience working with Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences clients
- JCT form of contract experience essential with some knowledge of NEC
- Cost planning, budgeting, and estimating experience
- Previous experience of managing people and risk management
- Knowledge of contract law and contractual frameworks relating to construction
- Sound knowledge and ability to undertake and advise on Contract Administration
- Knowledge of value engineering and life cycle costing
- Strong understanding of industry best practice
- Understanding of hot topic issues such as Sustainability, Social Value, Carbon Reduction impacting Public Sector
- Capex V Opex Cost Analysis/ advice
- A degree in quantity surveying/cost management or equivalent
