Social Media and Creative Content Coordinator

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to join our team as a Social Media and Creative Content Coordinator. As a key member of our creative team, you will be responsible for supporting various interior and social media projects, focusing on Instagram and PR.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work directly with the Creative HQ team to drive outcomes on key projects, both in terms of supporting planning and occasionally execution for Instagram and PR purposes.
  • Assist the HQ Creative Team in organizing content production, from planning themes and pre-production processes to ordering samples to be available on production days.
  • Focus on post-production of social media content, especially for Instagram.
  • Perform day-to-day organizational tasks such as order sampling, parcel packing, or ad-hoc requests.
  • Conduct in-depth research for interior content pieces, researching trends and zeitgeist topics to plan and create content-driven assets to build the go-to resource for design enthusiasts.
  • Gather information and materials for a project in order to plan, coordinate, and complete a project.
  • Assist the team in the planning and execution of PR-related issues in combination with content creation to promote them.

Requirements

  • A real passion for social media, particularly Instagram, with strong skills in post-production, content editing, and copywriting knowledge.
  • You are enrolled as a bachelor or master student in a relevant field of study (communications, marketing) for a minimum of 6 months.
  • A thorough understanding and appreciation of Westwing's DNA, core, topics, and content.
  • Strong creative vision, an affinity for aesthetics, an enthusiast for Home & Living, decorating, and trends with an eye on the business objective.
  • Visionary organizational talent, effective time management, and the ability to be flexible and multitask with a strong hands-on mentality.
  • Excellent communication skills, including oral and writing capabilities in German and English.
