Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Vehicle Technician - Field Test Specialist to join our team at Schotstek GmbH. As a key member of our engineering and technology consulting company, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and testing of our vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the installation of electrical measurement equipment and prepare vehicles for charging activities.
  • Conduct vehicle measurements, including trailer towing testing on real roads and proving grounds.
  • Assist with RDE activities, such as driving, installing measurement equipment, and preparing vehicles.
  • Ensure vehicles are roadworthy and monitor their engine and instrumentation systems.
  • Organize rental cars and test them on HMETC and external facilities.
  • Procure vehicle replacement parts and diagnose errors with subsequent repair.
  • Act as a liaison with our workshop to follow up on vehicle instrumentation and repair work.
Requirements
  • Degree in vehicle mechatronics, automotive engineering, or a related field (Relevant working experience is a plus).
  • Excellent command of English, intercultural, and communication skills.
  • HV Training level 2E/2S is a plus.
  • Class B & BE driving license mandatory (Providing ground license is a plus).
  • Cooperation, goal-oriented, and independent attitude.
  • Analytical and structured work style.
  • Commitment, high flexibility, resilience, and willingness to travel.
  • Strong willingness to learn and help team targets to be achieved in a dynamic working environment.
  • Proficient in presenting, reporting, and handling Microsoft applications like PowerPoint and Excel.
