About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Business Partner to join our team at GfK. As a key member of our HR function, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and success through strategic HR initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders to develop and implement people strategies that align with business objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with managers and senior stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Collaborate with specialist teams to deliver people strategies and support to the business.
- Manage employee relations, including performance management, employee cases, and policy development.
- Talent management, including succession planning, internal moves, and global mobility.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to interview, onboard, and assess candidates.
- Support business leaders in org design for new and existing roles and teams.
- Drive data and reporting to support leaders in making informed business decisions.
- Lead and support projects, including year-end processes, engagement surveys, change initiatives, and local business-driven initiatives.
Requirements
- Fluent German language skills.
- In-depth knowledge of German employee relations and employment legislation.
- Experience as the people lead for workers councils, employee committee, or union requirements.
- Proven HR business partnering experience, with the ability to navigate between strategic and transactional aspects of the role.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects.
- Experience working in a matrixed environment.
- Ability to work as an individual contributor supporting a region and/or business unit, while also collaborating with the HRBP and wider HR team.
