We are seeking a highly skilled Team Lead for our Accounting Payables team to oversee daily operations, lead a team of ten employees, and ensure the quality and quantity of accounts payable in DATEV.
Key Responsibilities
* Participate in daily operations of accounts payable and related tasks
* Lead the professional and disciplinary leadership of ten employees
* Ensure the quality and quantity of accounts payable in DATEV
* Oversee fixed assets, prepaid expenses, provisions, and VAT pre-registration
* Optimize bank accounting, payment transactions, and credit card statements
* Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB and IFRS
Requirements
* Completed commercial training or a degree in business administration
* Further training as a certified accountant or comparable qualifications is an advantage
* Solid knowledge of VAT law
* Relevant professional experience in accounts payable and team leadership
* Very good knowledge of accounting software DATEV and ideally MS Excel
* Experience in process optimization of accounts payable
