About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Application Engineer to join our Product and Operations Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing customer sites to ensure they are suitable for our first product, sewts.VELUM. You will communicate and facilitate necessary changes between internal and external stakeholders and coordinate and drive installation projects from initial site visit to final customer approval.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess customer facilities, existing hardware, software, and infrastructure to define requirements for the engineering team and make necessary CAD adaptations & drawings;
  • Project management and tracking of schedules to fulfill given timelines and collaborations regarding needed changes with customers, external partners, and suppliers to fulfill on-site requirements;
  • Developing parameters for the adoption of specific customer goods to maximize machine utilization in closed cooperation with customers;
  • Taking full responsibility for successful Site Acceptance Tests, Production Ramp-Up, and Operator Training, Supporting our Service Team with in-site feedback;
  • Willingness to travel for 15-20% of the time, primarily within central Europe.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in technical studies like Mechanical-, Industrial- or Mechatronics Engineering or an apprenticeship;
  • First professional experience in project management of multi-party projects;
  • Previous working experience with CAD and design skills;
  • A strong passion for automation technology and love for building machines, tools, and creating processes around it;
  • Professional working proficiency in German and English (written and spoken);
  • A hands-on, proactive work style, with the ability to skillfully articulate and present your ideas.
