About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps/SRE Engineer to join our team at Spark Networks. As a DevOps/SRE Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement large-scale systems, collaborating closely with engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize system improvements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design, build, test, and support web services and applications.
- Act as an advocate for adopting best practices in system design and automation standards.
Requirements
Who We're Looking For
- Experienced Engineer: At least 4 years of experience with AWS, serverless, and container technologies.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and building CI/CD pipelines using GitOps and SRE principles.
- Scripting Skills: Proficient in development/scripting with Golang, Python, or Bash.
- Collaborative and Organized: Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and good organizational skills. A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- On-Call Experience: Previous experience and willingness to work on an on-call basis.
- Experience with Ansible, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, JVM is a plus.
