Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at POSITECH GmbH. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative mechanical solutions for our inspection machines.
Key Responsibilities- Mechanical Design: Create detailed mechanical designs for our inspection machines, including concept and manufacturing drawings in 3D (AutoDesk Inventor 2018, Professional Suite) and 2D (LibreCAD), as well as deriving bills of material.
- Technical Documentation: Develop technical documentation, including user manuals, to ensure that our products are easy to use and maintain.
- Project Management: Manage projects from concept to delivery, ensuring that milestones and deadlines are met.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support to our management and sales teams to ensure that our products meet customer needs.
- Cost Optimization: Collaborate with our Managing Director to optimize manufacturing costs through the implementation of cost-saving ideas and standardization concepts.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: At least initial practical experience in using 3D CAD programs in mechanical engineering, preferably with AutoDesk Inventor.
- Language Skills: Very good language skills in English (written and spoken) and German language skills (certificate B1 or higher).
- Other Requirements: Entrepreneurial thinking, international background, open-minded and tolerant of different cultures.
