About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team at o2 Telefónica. As a key member of our transformation project, you will play a crucial role in migrating our application landscape to state-of-the-art Microservices and cloud-based architecture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure, extend, and develop adapters for interaction with other systems for the Hansen-based standard software for Order Management and Portfolio Inventory.
  • Support the development of software within agile development teams in the area of Order Management and Portfolio Inventory.
  • Collaborate with architects and domain experts to determine technical solutions for back-end systems in the mass market segment.
  • Provide technical expertise on topics related to programming, application architecture, development process, test automation, and CI/CD.
  • Monitor success and manage external service providers based on KPIs and reviews.
Requirements
  • Completed university or technical college studies or a comparable completed education in computer science.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in agile software development, preferably in the telecommunications sector.
  • Experience with applications in the area of Order Management and Portfolio Inventory, AWS Cloud, and general experience with OOTB or COTS software products.
  • Comprehensive knowledge in software development, DevOps, CI/CD, software architecture, and system administration.
  • Strong programming skills in Java, experience with BPNM, Container/Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
  • Excellent language skills in German (at least C1) and English, both written and spoken.
