Solution Architect

As a Solution Architect at SAP Fioneer, you will play a key role in driving transformation projects and shaping architectures for our clients in global transactional banking. With your deep understanding of cash management and payments processes, you will work closely with our customers to define suitable business solutions and architectures that improve their cash management and payments services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with prospects, customers, and sales teams to understand and anticipate business requirements and challenges.
- Utilize your industry expertise to articulate customer requirements and translate complex business needs into well-defined solution designs and architectures.
- Prove the suitability of your solution designs and discover additional innovation needs through fit-gap analyses.
- Advise customers on the best possible use of SAP Fioneer products to ensure operational excellence, sustainable growth, and high-value capture.
- Drive transformation in customer projects with a strong focus on solutions for banking software.
Requirements:
- Excellent Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, Finance, Economics, Physics, Mathematics; MBA or PHD is a plus.
- 7+ years of work experience in consulting, banks, and/or software companies; e.g., as an architect or overseeing/driving technology transformation within the banking sector.
- Proven track record of successful project execution and collaborative product development in the area of commercial banking/corporate banking.
- Deep expertise in corporate banking, in particular global transaction banking, cash management, and payments, and solid understanding of technology.
- Hands-on mentality to deliver value.
- Experience with SAP products and/or SAP consulting – ideally in banking.
- Strong business acumen, entrepreneurial spirit, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. German is a plus.
