Scientific Manager Role:

Médecins Sans Frontières, a leading international humanitarian organization, is seeking a skilled Scientific Manager to join its Luxembourg team.

This key role will play a crucial part in defining and implementing the Foundation's activities, working closely with the General Director and the Médecins Sans Frontières Luxembourg team. The successful candidate will oversee the administrative and financial officer, ensuring seamless operation of the Foundation.

The main responsibilities include:

  • Developing a short-, medium- and long-term strategy based on the Foundation's objectives, in collaboration with LuxOR and operational research entities within the MSF movement;
  • Cordinating the organization of debates and scientific discussions in Luxembourg and within the MSF Movement;
  • Representing the Foundation in dealings with stakeholders, including universities, research centers, and Luxembourg ministries;

To succeed in this role, you should possess excellent writing and speaking skills in French and English, as well as experience in project management, event organization, and dissemination of scientific activities. A Master's degree or equivalent professional experience in a medical or scientific field is also required.

We offer a competitive salary between 4,950€ and 6,000€ per month, depending on experience, along with comprehensive health insurance, luncheon vouchers, and opportunities for professional growth and development in a dynamic and inclusive work environment.
