About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Elevator Service Technician to join our team at Otis, the world's leading elevator and escalator manufacturing, installation, and service company. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our elevators and escalators, providing top-notch service to our customers, and contributing to the success of our company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on elevators and escalators to ensure optimal performance and safety
  • Conduct thorough inspections to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems
  • Collaborate with our engineering and technical teams to resolve complex issues and implement new technologies
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve our services

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in elevator maintenance, repair, or installation
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to work at heights, lift heavy equipment, and navigate confined spaces
