As a Working Student in the Regulatory Admissions & Governance unit at Deutsche Börse Group, you will be part of a team responsible for ensuring adherence to relevant rules and regulations across our client lifecycle. This involves due diligence during client onboarding, admission of exchange traders, monitoring of MiFiR and non-MiFiR clients' reporting obligations, and maintenance of the business relationship while fulfilling regulatory requirements.
About the RoleYou will primarily be responsible for the admission processes of traders and other individuals to our markets, including organization of trader examinations, granting access authorizations to trading floors, and supporting regular supervisory reporting. Additionally, you will provide first-level support on questions regarding regulatory admissions directly to our clients and internal interfaces via phone and email. Furthermore, you will assist the team and line management in coherent process documentations, drafting guidelines, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in trader admission/termination processes for Xetra, Eurex, and Eurex Repo markets
- Support creation of monthly/quarterly/annual reports for BaFin and Hessische Börsenaufsicht
- Support the team in audit document collection and delivery
- Be involved in enhancing data quality and account maintenance within SAP CRM 7
- Support creation of internal process guidelines and defining governance frameworks
- Jointly be responsible for answering requests from internal stakeholders regarding admissions of our clients (e.g., Group Legal, Compliance, or Key Account Management) and support trader exam organization and coordination with clients
- Support creation of invoices for trader examinations and trainings
- Enrolled as a regular student at a state-recognized university and have completed at least one semester
- Ideal prior experience in the financial markets area
- Basic knowledge in Finance, Capital Markets, and Financial Regulations
- Client services oriented with advanced communication skills to ensure high client and stakeholder satisfaction
- Strong team player with organizational skills and high motivation, flexibility, and willingness to take on responsibility
- Very good knowledge in MS Office applications
- Fluent English language skills; German language skills an asset
