About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineering Manager to join our team at thyssenkrupp Uhde GmbH. As a key member of our process engineering department, you will be responsible for facilitating the coordination of process engineering activities within projects, prioritizing tasks effectively, and ensuring the application of procedural steps and agreed-upon process engineering philosophies.
Your Responsibilities
- Coordinate process engineering activities within projects, prioritizing tasks effectively and ensuring timely completion.
- Develop and implement process engineering philosophies, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with local organizations, project management, and engineering management to ensure seamless project execution.
- Identify potential synergies and enhancements among process engineering teams, driving process improvements and efficiency gains.
- Represent process engineering activities, interfacing with clients, project management, and engineering management.
- Align operational philosophies, ensuring harmony between process engineering and other disciplines.
- Develop drainage concepts for the entire plant and overall heat and material balance for process plants.
- Create templates and forms for engineering activities, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
- Align process departments and entities, making informed decisions to drive business success.
Your Profile
- University degree in process or chemical engineering.
- Several years of experience in process engineering, ideally in the petrochemical industry with lead engineer and commissioning experience.
- Strong personality with excellent communication skills, both internally and externally.
- Driven and resilient individual with a passion for process engineering.
- Experience working in international, diverse, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Ability to travel internationally for work assignments.
