Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled German Payroll Expert to join our team in Germany. As a key member of our operational team, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll processing cycle for a diverse range of clients, including some of the world's most recognizable brands. Your primary focus will be on ensuring timely and accurate payments to employees, while building strong relationships with clients and collaborating with colleagues across the globe.

The role offers a unique blend of challenges and opportunities to learn, as you will work with a variety of clients from different industries and headcounts. Your daily tasks will include:

  • Processing German payroll accounting for multiple clients with varying headcounts and industry types
  • Serving as the primary contact person for health insurance companies, regulatory authorities, certification, and reporting
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of processes and participating in specialist projects
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of €55,000 - €65,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a market-driven compensation package, we provide excellent benefits, including professional development opportunities, flexible working hours, and a comprehensive health insurance plan.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Practical experience in German payroll processing and knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business administration or tax-related studies, with additional qualifications in human resources management (e.g., HR specialist)
  • Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in DATEV, SAP, LODAS, SBS, or similar software
  • A self-motivated attitude, a passion for payroll and service delivery, and a willingness to take on new challenges
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a global team
