Electronics Engineer for Motor Test Stands in Shift Operation

**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to join our team at FEV Dauerlaufprüfzentrum GmbH in Brehna. As an Electronics Engineer for Motor Test Stands, you will be responsible for the mechanical and electrical/electronic assembly of motors on pallet systems in the assembly workshop, including special adaptations.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Assemble motors on pallet systems in the assembly workshop, including special adaptations
  • Perform pre-testing of upgraded motors
  • Install upgraded motors in the test stand
  • Perform mechanical commissioning, including electrical/electronic troubleshooting as needed
  • Betray the installation and functional control of motor, exhaust, indicator, and flow measurement technology during the endurance test
  • Monitor the operation during the test stand run
  • Verify the plausibility of measurement results
  • Resolve issues, including independent, engaged, and systematic troubleshooting
  • Perform service work on motors in the endurance test operation to ensure smooth operation

**Requirements**

  • A completed technical vocational training, e.g., as a motor vehicle electronics technician or electronics engineer
  • Optional: initial work experience in test stand operation and motor assembly
  • Familiarity with the field of internal combustion engines and transmissions is desirable
  • Welding skills
  • Flexibility, a structured approach, willingness to work, team spirit, reliability, and independence
  • Willingness to continuously develop your knowledge and bring your gained experience into the team
