We are seeking a skilled Senior Backend Engineer to join our Prices and Offers Product team. As a key member of our team, you will play an active role in developing new features, supporting the team in maintaining micro-services, and extending backend services across various domains.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new features for our Prices and Offers Product team.
  • Support the team in maintaining important micro-services serving 11 million+ customers.
  • Extend and create new backend services across various domains that interact with internal and external applications.
  • Create and consume API endpoints based on defined contracts with colleagues.
  • Implement event-driven development with RabbitMQ to ensure scalable, asynchronous communication between services.
  • Work on new features designed for high-performance and scalability.

Requirements:

  • Have experience building services at scale with Node.js and TypeScript and demonstrate proficiency with REST APIs and a solid understanding of HTTP.

  • Willingness to work with different technologies, such as Java Services as the Team owns a crucial service developed in Java.
  • Possess a DevOps mindset, including use of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipeline setup.
