Job Title: Airport Fire Dispatcher

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Airport Fire Dispatcher to join our team at U.S. Army Europe and Africa. As a key member of our emergency response team, you will be responsible for dispatching fire and emergency services to ensure the safety of our personnel and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Dispatch fire and emergency services to airport facilities and surrounding areas
  • Operate emergency communication systems, including radios and phones
  • Manage emergency situations, including fires, medical emergencies, and other incidents
  • Coordinate with local emergency services, including fire departments and police
  • Maintain accurate records of emergency responses and incidents
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • German certification as basic firefighter (abgeschlossene Feuerwehrgrundausbildung, gemaess Feuerwehrdienstvorschrift 2 (FwDV2)) required
  • Experience in emergency dispatch or firefighting required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced emergency environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
