Audio Signal Processing PhD Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled PhD researcher to join our Signal Processing team at WSAudiology in Erlangen, Germany. As a PhD researcher, you will be responsible for conducting cutting-edge research in audio signal processing, developing innovative solutions, and contributing to the advancement of hearing aid technology.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct research in audio signal processing, focusing on topics such as audio scene analysis, speaker detection, and audio enhancement.
- Develop and implement signal processing algorithms and machine learning methods to improve speech intelligibility in noisy environments.
- Collaborate with our team of experienced researchers and engineers to advance the field of audio signal processing.
- Contribute to the development of new algorithms, neural networks, and detection methods for hearing aids.
- Present research findings at international conferences and publish papers in top-tier journals.
- Master's degree in electrical/electronic engineering, medical engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in digital signal processing, machine learning, and neural networks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in signal processing simulation using MATLAB/Simulink or Python.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with proficiency in English (both spoken and written).
