Principal Engineer - Functional Safety in Active Safety Systems

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Engineer to lead our functional safety development efforts for our intelligent chassis system. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and reliability of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement functional safety strategies for the intelligent chassis system, including ID, HARA, FSC, TSC, TSR, FMEA, FTA, and DFA.
  • Define and manage functional safety requirements, including writing system requirements specifications.
  • Participate in hardware and software design processes, reviewing designs and test specifications to ensure functional safety.
  • Oversee the development and analysis of functional safety test scenarios and cases.
  • Provide technical support throughout the development process, including Design Verification/Product Validation (DV/PV), mass production, and after-sales service.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Vehicle Engineering, Mechanical & Electronic Engineering, Automation, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in functional safety development for braking systems or chassis electronics, including expertise in ESP, IBooster, IBP, and EMB functional safety design at both the system and software levels.
  • Proven experience in failure monitoring and diagnosis strategies related to the functional safety of braking systems.
  • Proficiency with tools such as CANape/Analyzer, Matlab/Simulink, and CarMaker/CarSim, with a preference for experience with CarMaker.
