Global Commodity Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Commodity Manager to join our team at IC Resources. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for driving the procurement strategy and leading supplier management for our electronics and semiconductor business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Global Sourcing: Manage the global sourcing of PCBs, complex cable assemblies, and connectors.
  • Commodity Strategies: Develop and execute commodity strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery.
  • Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Team Development: Provide mentorship and training to the procurement team.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure alignment on technical requirements.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present reports to senior and C-level management.
Requirements:
  • Industry Experience: Extensive experience in the electronics or semiconductor industries, particularly in an engineering environment.
  • Relationship Building: Proven ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring and developing teams.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and reporting skills, particularly at the senior management level.
  • Travel: Willingness and ability to travel internationally.
