We are seeking a highly skilled Satellite Ground Operations Specialist to join our team at LSE Space. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing routine operations support for flying missions' operational mission control systems.
Key Responsibilities- Interface with multiple space agencies, companies, and vendors within the satellite/space business
- Develop relevant documentation for TT&C Ground Systems
- Support Ground Network architecture planning and implementation
- Perform Ground Network operations
- Configure Ground Data Systems components
- Test and troubleshoot GDS interfaces
- Understand customer requirements and implement them
- Support LEOP for LEO, MEO, and GEO missions (24/7 on-console support during the LEOP)
- A degree in Telecommunication engineering or a similar subject
- Solid networking background: TCP/IP, Internet protocols, data and voice transport technologies
- Understanding and usage of CCSDS ground and space link protocols (SLE, Cortex, NCTRS, etc)
- Understanding of TT&C Ground Systems
- Radio Frequency basics
- Fluent in English, both in speech and writing
- German language skills would be an asset
