Junior Legal Counsel

Amer Sports is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Junior Legal Counsel to join our Global Legal and IPR team in the DACH region. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in managing legal affairs and providing strategic advice to management on commercial and corporate law.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day legal affairs of the DACH region, including EU Competition and Antitrust laws.
- Provide strategic advice to management on commercial law (B2B and D2C business) and corporate law (compliance and local corporate governance).
- Support selected Amer Sports projects across all brands, including Arc'teryx, Salomon, Wilson, Peak Performance, and Atomic.
- Develop legal policies and guidelines and conduct training sessions to enhance the legal knowledge of the team.
- Prevent and resolve disputes and legal risks by reviewing claims, disputes, legal notices, and providing assistance in asserting and defending claims.
- Law degree - First and Second German State Exam
- 1-2 years of experience in a law firm or as an in-house lawyer, preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of laws and principles related to national and international contracts, collaborations, and transactions.
- Proficiency in commercial law, EU competition law, and corporate law.
- Solid experience in contract and claims management.
- Business-oriented and strategic mindset with strong team commitment.
- Experience in intercultural cooperation and living abroad, preferred.
- Ability to work under pressure and achieve results in a global matrix organization.
- Skill in understanding and communicating complex matters clearly and consistently.
- Excellent spoken and written language skills in English and German; French is a plus.
