About the Team

We are a dynamic team of software engineers at Leverage AWS AP, dedicated to delivering cutting-edge software solutions for our clients. Our team is responsible for designing and developing scalable, secure, and efficient software systems using the latest technologies and best practices.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer to join our team. As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based software applications using Python and AWS services. You will work closely with our cross-functional team to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop cloud-based software applications using Python and AWS services.
  • Implement data-intensive applications using microservices architecture and DDD/CQRS approach.
  • Develop and maintain databases using SQL-based Python libraries such as SQLAlchemy and Peewee.
  • Integrate AWS services such as API Gateway, AWS AppSync, and AWS IAM to build scalable and secure software systems.
  • Collaborate with data scientists to refactor analytical applications using software design patterns and principles.
  • Continuously integrate, package, and test code changes using GitLab and Gitflow branching strategy.
Requirements
  • Several years of experience in building enterprise-grade Python data-intensive applications using software best practices such as DDD, CQRS, and TDD principles.
  • Experience in SQL-based Python libraries such as SQLAlchemy and Peewee to access AWS RDS databases.
  • Experience in AWS services such as API Gateway, AWS AppSync, AWS IAM, AWS Cognito, Lambda, and DynamoDB.
  • Profound knowledge in building Python applications using Factory/Observer Design Patterns, Clean Code/SOLID principles, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
