Formal Verification Specialist for High-Speed Transport Systems

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Formal Verification Specialist to join our team for a thesis project focused on formal verification of motion applications in high-speed transport systems. The successful candidate will have a strong background in formal verification and software development, with experience in programming languages such as C and C++.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a market scan of available tools and evaluate at least three tools against requirements and usability.
  • Develop a model for formal verification based on a practical application.
  • Evaluate the suitability of formal verification methodology in practice.
  • Determine state-of-the-art engineering solutions to improve development efficiency.
  • Analyze the performance and quality of the tool, including state space explosion, export and import functionalities.
  • Integrate and analyze the performance of formally verified code.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Development, or a comparable field.
  • Experience and knowledge in formal verification, with good IT background and software development skills.
  • Independent, proactive, communicative, analytical, and willing to work in an international team.
  • Good communication skills in written and spoken English.
