About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Treasury Accounting Specialist to join our team at MediaMarktSaturn Global Business Services GmbH. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our cash management system, including the posting of electronic account statements and monitoring of payment processes.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain interfaces for the cash management system, ensuring seamless integration with national and international systems.
  • Monitor and optimize various payment processes, collaborating with external payment service providers to ensure efficient and secure transactions.
  • Create and maintain international accounting rules for the cash management system, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical support for the cash management system, addressing user queries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate and control internal and external IT service providers, ensuring software and operating system updates, security, and licensing are up-to-date.
  • Develop and manage applications, ensuring they meet business needs and are well-maintained.
Your Profile

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with a strong background in business information systems, business administration, or a related field. Your excellent analytical and technical skills, combined with your experience in application programming (VBA, ABAP, C#, SQL, or similar), will enable you to make a significant contribution to our team.

  • Proven experience in application programming and technical support.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Excellent MS Office skills, with a strong focus on Excel, Access, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Very good knowledge of English, spoken and written.
  • Experience and user knowledge in SAP FI.
