As a Cybersecurity Specialist - Web Application Security Expert at Spread Group, your primary responsibility will be to enhance the security of the company's platforms, with a particular focus on web application security while ensuring data protection and security. Your key duties include developing, deploying, and managing security tools and technologies to bolster the platform's security posture. You will also provide support to other development teams, leveraging your expertise to foster a security-conscious culture across the organization. Additionally, you will analyze threat situations collaboratively with the team, prioritizing and addressing them effectively to safeguard our platforms and services.

• Enhance the security of Spread Group's platforms with a focus on web application security, including data protection and security.

To succeed in this role, you should have deep knowledge of software development in Java or Kotlin and the corresponding frameworks Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate. Additional knowledge of a language such as Python, JavaScript, or Go for tooling and tests would be desirable. You should also have the ability to deal with databases and their programming, as well as familiarity with Linux and Docker. Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, are essential. A good command of English is required, with German being a plus.
