Cloud Infrastructure Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Architect to join our team at Burckhardt Compression AG. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based systems that meet the needs of our global customers.

• Design and implement cloud infrastructure using Azure microservices, databases, and IoT components;">
• Monitor and ensure the availability of cloud components and IoT devices;">
• Extend existing cloud architecture with new components and optimize performance in terms of cost, scalability, and efficiency;">
• Maintain, scale, and operate cloud components, including deployment of applications in the production environment;">
• Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to ensure secure operations and support certification processes;">
• Communicate with service providers and work closely with product management and development teams to design and maintain the overall solution.">

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or equivalent;">
• Proven experience with cloud providers (preferably Azure);">
• Mastery of IoT cloud infrastructure and Terraform;">
• Linux expertise and proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, and Python;">
• DevOps and security best practices, as well as experience maintaining remote systems (edge devices, servers, etc.).">
