About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled System Administrator to join our team at Utimaco. As a key member of our infrastructure services team, you will be responsible for planning, designing, installing, and administering our global infrastructure services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure proper service delivery for end-to-end services including network infrastructure, storage, servers, VMs, and interfaces.
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd Level Support within Infrastructure services and support the IT architecture.
  • Develop and maintain documentation following ITIL and PRINCE2 standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote information exchange and foster teamwork.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in cloud services and infrastructure administration.

Requirements

  • Operating MS Windows Server and LINUX Server.
  • Utilizing Virtualization Technologies like VMWare and MS Hyper-V and Enterprise Storage Systems based on SAN iSCSI.
  • Proficiency in IT Automation, Scripting (e.g., ansible), and system monitoring (e.g., CheckMK).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent English skills in both speech and writing, with additional German speech skills being a bonus.
  • Experience with security concepts and continuous improvements.
