About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at Falch GmbH. As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development of economical electrical engineering solutions for mobile high-pressure water jetting technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and verify electrotechnical components, functions, and systems for series production
  • Maintain electrotechnical components, functions, and systems by updating and eliminating faults
  • Select and design electrotechnical components, including electrical drives, control cabinets, wiring harnesses, safety and monitoring equipment, and programmable logic controllers
  • Create technical documentation, including models, production documents, specifications, reports, descriptions, and instructions
  • Perform electrotechnical calculations, laboratory, and field verifications
  • Identify and evaluate technological trends
  • Support detailed planning and concepts for electrotechnical sub-projects

Requirements

  • University degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Automation Technology
  • Further training in mobile electrics, SPS programming, or energy technology is beneficial
  • Several years of professional experience with reliable expertise and initial industry-specific knowledge
  • Practiced handling of ERP, EDM/PDM, and CAD software, ideally SolidWorks
  • Experience with SolidWorks Electrical 3D and CODESYS is desirable
  • Creative, meticulous, and comprehensible way of working with a talent for organization
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • German and English suitable for everyday use
  • Open and respectful demeanor, as well as critical and conflict resolution skills
  • Initial experience in team leadership and project management is helpful
