Freudenberg is seeking a detail-oriented Product Data Specialist to optimize our electronic catalog data and contribute significantly to our company's success.

In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and relevance of our product information. Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Data Analysis and Integration: Analyze original equipment catalog data from external sources and develop effective methods for data integration, quality control, and regular updating of our electronic catalog (TecDoc).
  • Parts Link Optimization: Leverage competitive and catalog data to enhance our parts links to competitor items, directly addressing customer needs.
  • Continuous Improvement: Conduct catalog benchmarking, identify product range gaps, and drive continuous improvement initiatives for the tools used to maintain our catalog's accuracy.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Continuously monitor data quality in TecDoc and SAP systems. Develop reports to track corrective actions and proactively initiate measures with relevant teams.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Serve as the internal point of contact for catalog improvements, communicating updates to local product managers and sales teams. Collaborate closely with category management, local product management, and sales departments.
  • Project Support: Provide support during the implementation of new product information management systems, ensuring they meet the requirements of our catalog data research process.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in (Business) Informatics, Business Administration, (Industrial) Engineering, or a related field.
  • Initial experience in data preparation, database management, and analysis, ideally within the context of electronic product catalogs.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills; proficiency in German is advantageous. Other foreign languages are a plus.
  • Familiarity with data processing tools such as SQL, KNIME, Python, R, Power BI, Qlik, etc.
  • Knowledge of automotive engineering and parts identification.
  • Experience within the independent automotive aftermarket, particularly with TecDoc catalog data, is highly beneficial.
