Internal Controls Manager Associate

We are seeking an experienced Internal Controls Manager Associate to join our team at Speira GmbH. As an Associate Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining our group-wide Internal Controls system, including governance frameworks and tools.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Internal Controls Manager in maintaining the group-wide Internal Controls system, including governance frameworks and tools.
- Contribute to the Development of Internal Controls Framework covering financial and non-financial aspects, including Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR) and Internal Control over Sustainability Reporting (ICSR).
- Implement and Roll-out Group-wide Internal Control over Sustainability Reporting and perform test of control procedures to monitor effectiveness of control execution.
- Facilitate Group-wide Self-Assessment Process for Internal Controls and identify critical risks as and follow-up on defined actions.
- Support Business Process Improvements and prepare process descriptions and process flowcharts.
- Interact Closely with Business to strengthen awareness and support the effective implementation of relevant risk mitigation measures.
- Provide Advice and Support for identified improvement areas and develop and execute trainings and communication material, including e-learnings.
- University Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Equivalent Qualifications
- At Least Three Years of Relevant Experience within Internal Controls, preferably in an international environment and/or from Big4 auditing or consulting.
- Project Management Skills and ability to co-ordinate effectively cross-functional teams.
- Proactive Approach with demonstrated ability to effectively implement systems and actions.

- Ability and Interest to Work Independently and in a Team
- Strong Communication Skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, Especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Fluent in German and English
- Additional Experience in IT Audit and/or ESG Reporting is an Advantage
